2015 Superintendent of the Year Finalists

Ten finalists have been chosen by our panel of judges from a field of 128 nominees for the 2015 TurfNet Superintendent of the Year Award, presented by Syngenta.

Criteria on which nominees are judged include: labor management, maximizing budget limitations, educating and advancing the careers of colleagues and assistants, negotiating with government agencies, preparing for tournaments under unusual circumstances, service to golf clientele, upgrading or renovating the course and dealing with extreme or emergency conditions.

Jorge Croda, Southern Hills Golf Club, Burleson, TX
Matt Crowther, CGCS, Mink Meadows Golf Club, Vineyard Haven, MA
John Cunningham, CGCS, Bellerive Country Club, St. Louis, MO
Matt Gourlay, CGCS, Colbert Hills, Manhattan, KS

The winner will be announced Thursday, Feb. 11 at 2 p.m. in the Syngenta booth at the Golf Industry Show in San Diego.
