Expansion of Turf Equipment Storage Facility
Well it has been a busy week this week installing our new turf equipment storage facility. I wanted to take the time to put up a few photos of our new facility. One of my tasks right off the start was to figure out how we were going to get our equipment under shelter. For the life of most of our equipment it has been stored outside in the elements. This seems to be the case at a lot of facilities and normally buying a new building takes years of financial planning. I drawled out a facility design while at The Ritz-Carlton but the building was never purchased so I made some modifications to it to fit in here at The Four Seasons. Here are the details of the building:
30W x 90L x 12h – Green w/ white trim, 12 Gauge Steel
2 – 10 x 10 Roll up doors
6 – 8 x 10 Roll Up door
The facility will enable us to get all of our equipment under storage and cost less than $25,000 dollars. When looking at the value of over a million dollars worth of assets this was really an easy decision to make. The building is certified at over 125mph winds. Over the next month we will be adding quite a bit inside for organization but this is a huge start to my winter project of getting the facility organized and equipment in shape to position us for a successful season next year.
